So perhaps a better question is: Do YOU want a ban for being a moron?

First of all, JimmyDean, you should really read the rest of a forum before you judge someones post like that.
Anyways, to actually pertain to the topic, i think that Witte's warrior "solo" build, where he runs a hero bonder out of range and the slaughters everything, might work here. I'm not at home, so I havent been able to test it, but if it can full groups of lvl 28 kournans, I dont see why it wouldn't be able to handle lvl 20 corsairs. Just a thought though.

The Inlet challenge mission has loads of enchantment removal (you are talking about that, right?). So Barrier/Bond is out of the question.
I'd say the best bet is a 600hp build with smiter...add in QZ for a 100% up Spellbreaker. There are lots of conditions being spammed on you too so a Mo/D would be nice to counter that with Mystic Regeneration. Looking at the level 20 corsairs skills you're goint to be poisoned, burning, and bleeding pretty much constantly.
I planned on doing some test builds but time has not allowed. I'll get back to this post when I do...

I wasn't aware that being a moron was a bannable offense, I suppose I should have read the rules more closely.
The mission is ALMOST soloable with an earth elementalist, but I couldn't overcome all of the degeneration, even spamming mending touch with healing breeze and mending up. Im sure that an earth ele and a monk could do it, though.

surely shield of absorbsion combined with healing breeze would combat that?

I have tried this a week ago, but the problem is with a W/D and hero bonder, you get crippled all the time (so you are slow as hell), you have to kill the doctor first but he keeps running away. I think it's best to go as a E/A with SF, or something like a N/... with SS or Feast of Corruption... I havn't tried yet, I was to bussy with my other build for UW.
So if some tries this and it works, let me know

Sorry but I think Id prefer a purple r13 max dmg machete to something that costs a 100 ectos xD Its extremely rare sure, but a skin that doesn't even look that great just isn't worth it IMO.

yeah, you're the practical kind, but there are also those who love farming and dont have better things to do with their money than buy and find all the rare and good looking stuff, and gold looks much prettier than purple, even if it's just in the inventory
now back on topic, so I guess both mordok and inlet have a small chance of dropping these heh? maybe barbrous shore as well?
but hell, farming for these is a pain in the ass as they're so unlikely to drop...

Some have farmed there --- off in barbrous shore, result---> no drops
If your read wiki, more chance of getting one is the challenge mission

You guys seem to be forgeting some things, for one, the Farming Flags that dramaticlly effect your drops, E.G. I soloed the first 18 Stygian Hungers and got no drops, this was about my 10th run. Also if you really want a CS you are gonna have to be a pretty dedicated player, for me, Moddok will be ok because they drop there, maybe not as common as other places but still, they drop I'll tell you if i get one hehe.

Her name wasnt being thrown around. it was stated she was selling 4 colossal and she had told me she had gotten 2 by farming them..... then even added another colossal by the 4th or 5th day.
I was talking about how she was rude in the broad question I asked of please help me, where on earth have you gotten these to drop?
And the response was "I'm a big gw millionare and I dont care." Surely someone with over 25 mil in items and gold wouldnt care to help out people who are much much less fortunate..... But I guess thats just to hard to do....
so I'll just leave it at that, I dont want to start a flame war... but if it helps to bring some light to the subject * take note that she didnt say in the actual words of the quote, but it was very dismissive and portated a point that came across as that one.
As to the other people Ty for the helpful information, I can farm the first lvl of the challenge mission... but i'm doubting they'll drop in the first place.
And as for moddok... which corsairs dropped it the high lvl 21+'s or the lvl 17 corsairs in the very beginning?

Funny seeing myself being quoted on a thread I never posted on before.
I found my second colossal just recently (req 12, alas), also in a Barbarous Shore chest. I've tried solo builds and in the end I gave up, Corsairs have way too many annoying running casters. Here's what I do now:
Simple and easy 4 man power slaughter; either me and one or two guildies or just me and a full complement of heroes. We (I) can clean out every last corsair in about 20 minutes and there's usually one and sometimes as many as four Kournan chests spawning near Corsair groups. That's where the candy is. (Don't bother with chests NOT near a corsair group, they won't drop anything worthwhile.)
There's usually no great profit on any individual run, though when you do hit it, it makes up for a lot of poor runs. There are plenty of Rune/Insignia drops and once in a while a green or 2, to make this a small money maker anyway.
I'm doing at least one run every time I play, but never more than 3 in a row. I've been going at this for months, collecting Preserved Iris Flowers as mementos to count the runs. I'm up to 62.

I posted on this topic a while ago about doing Shagu Anthem runs in barbarous shore. Glad to see that CS's actually drop there, i've opened about 50 corsairs chests and didn't get any though, but farmed about 15 Shagus and got a tatooed from a chest though.
About the Shagu run, I use the usual 8 man hero/hench flag away at bosstrick. Paragon bosses are really easy to solo (him and Wandalz refuge are great greens to farm). I use a basic Monk/Necro spoil victor to solo Shagu, but a dervish with Avatar balthazar and mystic regen can make short work of him also. The run has anywhere from 1-3 corsair chests, sometimes one next to Shagu himself and takes less than 10 mins to do I think. Even if you don't net that rare CS, you can still get a tatooed scimitar from chest or Shagu's,so decent run.
